The Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a world-class Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead in the implementation of High Performance Plan and ultimately drive the future success of Canada Olympic and Paralympic programs.
  • This highly driven, enthusiastic and focus professional will report to the Chief Executive Officer and provide leadership to the High Performance team.
  • In addition, the CTO will drive, lead and execute the overall vision and direction of the High Performance program in order to achieve sustainable podium performances.
  • This position requires extensive domestic and international travel.

The Fit:

  • This critical position within the organization requires a leader with an exceptional capacity to build and maintain a culture of excellence.
  • In addition, the ideal candidate will posses a University degree in a related field (coaching, sport science, or sport management) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience and a minimum of five to seven years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a leadership role.
  • Key to his/her success is proven experience in developing, implementing and leading a successful high performance program in an international sport, resulting in podium success.
  • The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, will thrive in a fast pace enviroment with lots of moving parts and be team player.
