Job Description

4Sight Business Intelligence, is a leading developer of enterprise-class Business Intelligence Software for the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.

Note - Sponsorship is not available for this position.
4Sight is looking for developers/architects with Pentaho experience.
Property & Casualty Insurance experience is not required, but a big plus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Required to read, analyze and digest business requirements and design best ETL process(es) around those requirements
Responsible for designing, modifying, testing & implementing data warehouse and all related ETL functions
Required to document all designs (high level and detail) and ETL processes, including mapping documentation.
Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation in existing ETL, mapping and workflows as assignedAssist in maintaining all data sources and data storage options
Record time accurately in the time keeping system.
Communicate with clients responsively and proactively when required.Communicate status and issues to management.
Staying current on Pentaho and other ETL/Data Warehousing technologies
Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Experience/skills/background:-

Required knowledge of Pentaho- Knowledge of any/all of these technologies preferred:
SQL (MSSQL preferred)
Windows, Linux
Tomcat, HTML/JavaScript, XML
SOAP and REST based web services, SOA
AWS, Redshift
HP Vertica
Active Directory/LDAP
Object Oriented Design
Sybase PowerDesigner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to independently problem solve
Ability to be flexible and play multiple roles
Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple clients/projects/tasks.
Knowledge of Insurance Industry is a huge plus!
