Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain data models and data processing logic based on customer requirements;
  
• Translate business requirements to user stories, technical requirements and data mart design;
  
• Work with technical teams and end-users from the business to ensure that the BI function delivers the required outcome with proper master data governance and tooling;
  
• Design business rules and data quality rules and provide insight to the business of these internal business rules;
  
• Perform source system data profiling and data quality assessments;
  
• Perform quality assurance functions as they relate to reporting and data validation;
  
• Analyze and interpret data for business and operational initiatives;
  
• Research data anomalies and engage business and operational stakeholders to develop solutions;
  
• Give advice and training around data governance and data quality.
  

Who we are looking for

• The ETL Specialist must continuously strive to significantly improve the data collection and processing processes, enforcing standardisation and consolidation of these capabilities throughout the organisation.
• Will also support users with activities regarding data quality and master data management.
• The successful candidate must have a Bachelor or master degree in a relevant discipline;
• At least 5+ year of experience in the field of information analysis, data modelling tools and modelling methodologies; and strong experience with Informatica suite and one or more leading database environments (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft or other vendors).
• Must also have strong SQL skills & experienced in SQL development tooling; experience with ERwin or similar data modelling tools;
• Experience with Microstrategy or similar reporting tools; Cloud environments; and with data quality and master data management tooling.
