MUST HAVES:

Big Data - delivered projects as program manager - with at least 1-2 big data project - on premises OK (cloud not required)
Must have done one big data engineering implementation or data analytics
Starts:End of January/Feb - through middle/end of July

Data Engineering Program Director

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Present monthly updates to key executives on project milestones, plans and Manage Data Strategy Budget
    
  • Manage the Data operations and special projects ticketing boards utilizing Jira
    
  • Identify and participate in process and system enhancements and implementation
    
  • Assist in special projects as needed

  Qualifications:
  

  • 10+ years experience in data engineering and analysis, visualization tools and program management
    
  • Good understanding of data, data models, relational databases, and various ETL tools like Informatica.
    
  • Success in managing large projects in the data engineering space
    
  • Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize business situations down to their quantitative essence. Strong attention to detail
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally and present to all layers of management
    
  • Exposure to AWS ecosystem such as Redshift, EMR etc.
    
  • Proficient in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence etc.
    
  • Proficient in Agile Scum and Kanban
