Job description

• We are looking for a senior Python and Devops developer with at least 5 years of experience who enjoys solving complex problems in elegant ways.
  
• The ideal candidate firmly believes in TDD, significant systems administration experience, and has a wide range of experience producing solid solutions to a variety of problems.
  
• The opportunity will be to work on several of the following projects and more:
  
• Build and maintain a multi-zone and multi-region failover infrastructure with the goal of very high availability.
  
• Be instrumental in designing and managing solutions to handle at least 8% monthly growth in traffic.
  
• A real-time alerting framework for sending out notifications to users based on different application events.
  
• Designing and architecting a solution for moving relational data into ElasticSearch for working with big data, enabling rapid reporting, and performing predictive analytics.
  
• All of these problems will have immediate impact on 1000s of users who are providing top-notch home care to 100,000s of seniors.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years working with Python 3+ years unix administration experience
  
• Worked with SaltStack, Chef, or similar
  
• Experience working with and administering large PostgreSQL databases
  
• Experience administering RabbitMQ, Celery, Redis, ElasticSearch, etc
  
• Familiar with Git or MercurialA proven record and passion for TDDAmbition to make things awesome, not just good enough
