Position Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or a related field combined with five years of progressive experience; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering customized staff training;
  
• Demonstrated ability to couple functional IT knowledge with business knowledge to ensure user expectations are properly understood and communicated;
  
• Possess and demonstrate a high level of analytical skills with the ability to understand complex and diverse business needs when dealing with internal and external stakeholders;
  
• Must have superior project management skills;
  
• Experience testing and migrating data between systems;
  
• Extensive proficiency in MS Office programs and direct experience working in complex databases such as SQL and ODBC;
  
• Superior attention to detail;
  
• Proven ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, create a plan for solution implementation and lead a group through the required changes;
  
• Strong understanding of grant management, research finance and performance reviews in order to build appropriate workflows;
  
• Must have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal);
  
• Proven ability to successfully adapt to change;
  
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, project based work environment and handle multiple, concurrent and competing priorities;
  
• Ability to work proactively and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines;
  
• Ability to work independent with minimal supervision and as part of a team environment.
