Job description:
- Responsible for understanding and evaluating business requirements and translating them into specific database solutions.
- Manage data acquisition, quality and publishing of data representing multiple lines of business.
- Gain an understanding of the Company line of business to determine the information the enterprise will capture, retain and exploit.
- Define, enforce and maintain data standards such as naming, architectural approaches/patterns, dictionary, migration/optimization processes and documentation.
- Participates in the design, development and implementation of architectural and operational deliverables.
- Interpret functional and informational needs at project level.
- Produce data requirements, process models, data analytics, programs, databases, software components and analysis that provide cost effective, timely solutions for the business.
- Assesses and optimizes system design and user requirements, in coordination with other architectural owners.
- Maintain industry and/or technical knowledge base and facilitate/maintain industry relationships.
- Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to fulfill customer needs.
- Bachelor\'??s degree in computer science, business or information systems or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
- 8 to10 years business analysis experience working with onshore/offshore resources in addition to strong analytical skills familiar with relational databases.
- Additional experience with various operating system environments such as Hadoop ecosystem like HDFS, HBase Kafka, Storm, Apache NiFi, Apark, Hive, Solr, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint. Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL design, relational databases and solid SQL skills (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)\\\'
