Job Description:
What you will do:
- You a??ll design, build, and maintain infrastructural services used by a??s applications.
- Many of our tools are written in Go and weâ??re a bit weird about how much we like it. You neednâ??t know it coming in but expect to learn it a?? you a??ll be building and maintaining tools that make a??s software development process more efficient, simpler, and faster.
- You a??ll develop monitors and build alerts around error conditions and performance. Youâ??ll seek root causes.
- You a??ll advise developers on the best ways to make their applications highly available and containerize our production environment to make it more available, deployable, and globalized.
What you need to know:
- You program for a living, and call at least Java or Golang your own.
- Experience provisioning virtual systems programmatically is required.
- Amazon Web Services experience is a major plus, but weâ??re fine with any stack provider a?? even bare metal a?? as long as you interacted with it using an API.
- Experience with MySQL is required.
- Experience managing Linux systems is required.
- Experience with nginx, Redis, HDFS, or Hbase is a major plus.
