POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assists in establishing strong business and financial processes and governance for effective cost management.
• Participates in the design, implementation and tracking of multi-dimensional financial reporting process changes and related metrics to drive standardization and consistency.
• Assists in the analysis of financial results to feed into business decision making.
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Participates in the preparation of financial information for the development of budget, forecasts, scorecards and action plans.
• Organizes and prepares data for basic financial analyses and reports to meet required deadlines.
  
• Understands key financial reporting structures, account structures and audit controls.
  
• Participates in various aspects of implementation and/or modification and monitoring of new reporting and accounting systems, enhancements, procedures, account structures, audit controls, etc.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited masters program focusing on accounting, finance or a related discipline (current sophomore or junior)
  
• 0-2 years experience in accounting/finance with exposure to financial planning and analysis.
  
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
