Job Description:

  • The e-Commerce Channel Development Manager is focused on developing existing e-Commerce customers and actively prospecting new customers within this channel.
  • The position is responsible for maximizing sales, leading the development of customer relationships, and executing the company marketing, branding and financial strategies associated with e-Commerce.

Essential Functions

  • Deliver on gross and net sales targets
  • Leverage data, analytics and industry insight to monitor and adapt tactics
  • Work with broker partners to create and execute customer specific business plans
  • Develop broker team to be brand ambassadors
  • Expand business profitably through the strategic use of trade funds
  • Develop customer relationships at the buyer and director levels
  • Meet with key customers frequently and prospect for new customers
  • Continuously monitor customer objectives and ensure alignment
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure updated, accurate content on customer websites
  • Collaborate with the sales team in developing joint strategies for \"Brick & Click\" retailers
  • Work with finance team and customer service to seamlessly set up new customers
  • Be the voice of the ecommerce shopper within Pacific Foods
  • Secondary Functions
  • Provide customer advise, information and responses to questions and inquires
  • Perform related duties as assigned
  • As an employee of a food manufacturing facility you are responsible for ensuring food safety and quality by reporting any concerns to the quality assurance department

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • This position manages various broker and distributor networks and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizationas policies and applicable laws.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Previous experience managing multiple million dollar customers
  • Previous success with Amazon and other key e-Commerce retailers
  • Develop relationships with noncompetitive companies to share channel insights
  • Experience collaborating within a cross-functional team to develop and execute a plan
  • Strong analytical ability, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed, team oriented and mission driven
  • Willing to take measured, transparent risks and learn quickly from failure and success
  • Flexible, curious, and able to adapt quickly to change

Minimum qualifications:

  • The position requires a Bacheloras degree or equivalent work experience (MBA a plus),
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience within the consumer packaged goods industry and
  • 2-3 years of progressive e-Commerce account management experience.
