Typical Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to identify and prioritize opportunities and enhancements for the website
• Identify technical needs and gather specifications and requirements for efficient updates
• Write documented, quality code using best development practices that can undergo extensive testing
• Create webpage layouts using HTML, CSS, and JS
• Integrate data from SQL databases and other back-end services
• Be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and scaling the website
• Keep up with industry trends and apply them into operations and activities when necessary
• Collaborate with graphic designers to match visual design intent
• Collaborate with third-party developers or vendors as needed
• Document code and technical designs

Requirements for Success:

• Minimum 3 years PHP development experience
  
• Experience with Zend Framework a plus
  
• Experience supporting an eCommerce web site with Magento a plus
  
• Energetic self-starter with proven experience working in web programming
  
• In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/JS including jQuery library and frameworks
  
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

• Knowledge of relational database systems and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Excellent understanding of customer needs and business strategy
• Ability to proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and 3+ years experience
