Job Description:
Position Responsibilities
- Developing, managing, and enhancing ETL processes;
- Optimize a coordinated, multi-channel member outreach process;
- Work independently to identify subsets of our population that need engagement;
- Build healthcare-claims-based predictive models to identify members who can benefit from our programs and drive value for our clients;
- Guiding the full life-cycle of Big Data and Advanced Analytics solutions;
- Validate your solutions through research;
- Oversee and manage BI Developer(s);
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis;
- Presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders;
- Come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large data sets.
Qualifications
- Microsoft SQL Server and BI Tools - SSIS, SSRS;
- SQL, R, VB, C#, Python, Tableau;
- Machine learning algorithms, research, and/or significant coursework;
- HIPAA compliance;
- Track record of producing comprehensive and comprehensible reports and presentations; for business executives;
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
- Demonstrated experience and comfort presenting to IT and business executives;
- A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others;
- The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities;
- Understanding of ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 and healthcare claims reports;
- Customer-oriented and team player mindset.
Education/Licensure/Certification
Bachelor??s Degree-Required, MasterĂ¢??s Degree/PhD-Preferred
Experience
- 7+ Years-Developing predictive models in a healthcare or life sciences setting;
- 4+ Years-Database management;
- 4+ Years-MS SQL;
- 4+ Years-Business Intelligence Development Studio;
- 4+ Years Healthcare Industry Experience (Preferred);
- 1 Year-Tableau Desktop Developer (Preferred).
