Role:-GIS Analyst

The positions essential duties include the following:

• Using geospatial editing, analytical and cartographic software, relational database applications and other programs to understand and manipulate complex geospatial data to develop strategic and operationally focused mapping, reporting and analytics products
• Provide GIS Tech Support, assist end users with GIS technical issues and questions
• Prepare and execute queries in spatial and non-spatial databases using SQL.
• Conduct end user training on GIS system

Strong Technical training and experience in GIS mapping, geo spatial analysis, and geographic principles (e.g., map projections, datums, geocoding) 5 Years

• Knowledge of ETL and data modeling software 4 Years
• GISP Certification
• NOTE: In addition, please list any desired experience.
• Expertise working with Census, ACS data sets.

Ability to Install, configure Boundless Open Geo Stack of products.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are an absolute must.
• Outstanding analytic skills in particular, an ability to translate an unstructured strategic question into a structured program of research, to dis aggregate potential drivers of performance, to explore relationships between multiple pieces of data, and to test and identify the drivers underlying performance measures
• Outstanding ability to synthesize research results into actionable strategies and recommendations
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
