SUMMARY

  • The National Account Manager, E-commerce will manage, lead and grow sales and profit for key account e-tailers.
  • This individual must be able to work in a fast paced environment with an emphasis on new product distribution, promotional planning, and category management for their respective account base.
  • This role will be directly responsible for all customer activities with key account Amazon.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full responsibility for external e-commerce growth. Including: Managing e-commerce sales plan and execution,
  • Quench brand developed marketing programs and presentation on e-tailer sites, coordination of digital marketing campaigns and best in class product presentation.
  • Formulate and execute annual sales, marketing, and promotional strategies/plans for key customer accounts; focus on digital marketing, pricing/programming, online presence, content optimization and online consumer ratings and reviews.
  • Create and track towards key performance metrics for respective e-tailer accounts.
  • Generate accurate forecast monthly and provide meaningful insights on account performance to increase sales and market share.
  • Track e-tailer operational metrics and benchmarks including fill rates, operational efficiencies and logistics execution.
  • Must understand effective investment of trade, E-Commerce media and brand marketing budget across variables including assortment and pricing.
  • Actively monitor report and improve on these programs.
  • Represent E-Commerce Sales and Marketing in customer dialogue/meetings.
  • Lead negotiations with new sales and marketing partners.
  • Lead Sales-specific E-Commerce planning with customers and internal peers, including assortment mix and pricing.
  • Evaluate potential third party relations partners in conjunction with E-Commerce, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize share, sales and profits.
  • Negotiate and manage trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work directly with cross-functional teams (Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales) to provide continued business solutions for e-commerce customer needs.
  • Experience with Amazon required.
  • Actively leverage learnings and expertise from Amazon.com into the rest of the business to improve other e-tailer/customer e-commerce strategies and plans.
  • Must be familiar with Vendor central platform and capable of routine reporting, analysis, and account optimization.
  • Understand and comply with the Quality System and current regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years experience in CPG e-commerce sales/account management
  • Full understanding of online/digital tools to drive pricing and promotion
  • Demonstrated track record of growth and progression within an e-commerce environment
  • High sense of urgency and strong self-starter who can lead projects from start to finish
  • Agile and capable of navigating through barriers to growth
