Job Description:
Overview of Responsibilites·
- Design and maintain conceptual architecture models based on high level requirements from technical and business stakeholders.·
- Develop/document IT architecture and design in relation to projects.·
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that technology decisions and blueprints align with the overall system architecture and with business strategies and plans.·
- Providing technical guidance and support to application and infrastructure architects.·
- Facilitate and contribute to technical/business solution discussions for technical and non-technical audiences.·
- Technology assessments that select, compare and rate a short list of candidate technologies against a set of business requirements.
- Strategic assessments of technologies and trends to develop strategic technology roadmaps.
- Tactical research such as monitoring product lifecycle changes and making recommendations regarding replacement or upgrade options.·
- Conduct product evaluations and/or develop proof of concept on new products and concepts.·
- Develop guidelines that are compliant with industry standards and/or best practices for technology/system implementations.
- Recommend, develop, and conduct training relevant to technology and architecture components for various audiences.
- University Degree in Computer Science or a Community College Certificate in Data Processing.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT architecture experience in complex technical environments.·
- Knowledge and experience in large-scale enterprise application architecture.·
- Knowledge and experience in enterprise data center infrastructure.·
- Proven experience in conceptual architecture and design.·
- Must have .Net experience and frameworks and patterns knowledge.·
- Business Analytics, AI, and Oracle database experience an asset.·
- Experience in conducting technology product assessments.·
- Proven analytical abilities and able to work at an abstract level.·
- Demonstrated facilitative leadership attributes.·
- Highly developed planning, organizing and negotiating skills; can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.·
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.·
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with stakeholders.·
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.·
- Bilingual English/French would be considered an asset.
