Role SAP Design Architect

Location:Troy, MI

Oversee SAP processes and data integrity, system controls, and business practices. Advise and support management in maintaining effective SAP usage within the plant.

Job Description:

• Provide strategic direction to the Design Authority for the process they are responsible for Ensure new policies, standards and procedures required for the new business process are implemented
• Approve requirement documents and change requests to confirm assumptions, ensure business requirements are met, and identify any issues
• Act as final decision maker in any case of dispute relating to requirements and design As needed, participate in relevant
• Operational Review Meetings Review and sign-off of functional and technical specifications as prepared by Project Internal/External Consultants.
• Ensuring that the Testing Strategy and User Acceptance
• Testing have been appropriately designed and tested to meet business needs

• Maintain/oversee plant specific master data in SAP
  
• Manage and coordinate activities required to ensure SAP processes work smoothly
  
• Provide change management oversight related to SAP data and business processes within the plant
  
• Key plant focus person for SAP related issues and problems
  
• Follow up on SAP related issues and provide management with information to correct problems
  
• Coordinate IT support for SAP related issues, including monitoring of service desk response
  
• Elevate SAP problems to plant and Edscha IT management as required
  
• Assist management team in improving SAP skills as required
  
• Maintain documentation for SAP business practices and standard work
  
• Subject matter expert to assist in implementation or improvement ofbusiness practices
  
• Other duties as assigned
