Job Description:
This position reports directly to the Treasurer and has exposure to senior management. The primary duties of the Senior Financial Analyst include:
Essential Functions:
- Work directly with leaders to determine pricing levels, identify unique variables and opportunities, identify current and future drivers of growth, and identify correlations in macro and micro-economic trends that drive performance
- Assist in build-out of risk analytics framework at bank holding company; including capital/liquidity ratio analysis, asset-liability management; interest-rate risk management; stress testing and contingent funding scenario planning.
- Support Bank senior management in preparing bank ALM/ALCO reporting; including capital/liquidity ratio analysis, asset-liability management, interest-rate risk management; bank stress testing and bank contingent funding scenario planning.
- Work closely with IT department to build-out corporate data warehouse population to support Data Governance initiatives and future analytics.
- Develop profitability exercises/scenarios to support Sales initiatives including case assessments comparing build vs. buy, in-house spending scenarios, project ROI calculations, etc.
- Prepare strategic capital forecasts of Parent and banking subsidiary regulatory capital ratios and recommending strategies to optimize capital efficiency.
- Other responsibilities include ad hoc peer analysis, market and product research, and Regulator data requests.
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA or professional designation a plus
- 6+ years experience in financial services industry, bank experience a plus
- Experience with lease or loan product pricing models
- Experience with ALM and stress testing models a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels in the organization
- Ability to maintain a high attention to detail, minimize errors and clearly document processes
- Self-motivated professional with demonstrated record of achievement
- Must have strong Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills
- InfoLease, Aspire, Solomon, FRX, BI360, Tableau, and database experience a plus
