Senior Financial Data Analyst Location:Mount Laurel, NJ

Job Description:

This position reports directly to the Treasurer and has exposure to senior management. The primary duties of the Senior Financial Analyst include:

Essential Functions:

  • Work directly with leaders to determine pricing levels, identify unique variables and opportunities, identify current and future drivers of growth, and identify correlations in macro and micro-economic trends that drive performance
  • Assist in build-out of risk analytics framework at bank holding company; including capital/liquidity ratio analysis, asset-liability management; interest-rate risk management; stress testing and contingent funding scenario planning.
  • Support Bank senior management in preparing bank ALM/ALCO reporting; including capital/liquidity ratio analysis, asset-liability management, interest-rate risk management; bank stress testing and bank contingent funding scenario planning.
  • Work closely with IT department to build-out corporate data warehouse population to support Data Governance initiatives and future analytics.
  • Develop profitability exercises/scenarios to support Sales initiatives including case assessments comparing build vs. buy, in-house spending scenarios, project ROI calculations, etc.
  • Prepare strategic capital forecasts of Parent and banking subsidiary regulatory capital ratios and recommending strategies to optimize capital efficiency.
  • Other responsibilities include ad hoc peer analysis, market and product research, and Regulator data requests.

Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA or professional designation a plus
  • 6+ years experience in financial services industry, bank experience a plus
  • Experience with lease or loan product pricing models
  • Experience with ALM and stress testing models a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to maintain a high attention to detail, minimize errors and clearly document processes
  • Self-motivated professional with demonstrated record of achievement
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills
  • InfoLease, Aspire, Solomon, FRX, BI360, Tableau, and database experience a plus
