Role:Digital Marketing Specialist

Loc:Chapel Hill, NC

  • Resort management company is looking for a dynamic, tech-savvy marketing professional to manage our digital marketing campaigns, with focus on email marketing, social media and content creation.
  • The successful candidate must have past experience with email marketing automation platforms, email campaigns, social media, website analytics and CRM systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and design email communication and implement strategy to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention and growth
  • Develop and manage marketing automation platform to optimize segmentation, campaign execution and reporting
  • Create, test and manage landing pages
  • Define and report on key performance metrics for all digital marketing campaigns
  • Oversee day-to-day activities including scheduling and managing campaign calendars

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Develop monthly/quarterly social media email editorial calendar across all platforms
  • Create beautiful graphics and authentic, relevant and engaging copy for use in social media
  • Regularly upload and tag images, and develop content with a focus on SEO
  • Act as community manager across all social platforms
  • Identify and collaborate with licensees, industry partners and influencers to maximize social media reach
  • Review and report analytics on an ongoing basis to make strategic recommendations
  • Monitor what competitors and partners are doing in the social space
  • Implement social media best practices to maximize reach and engagement

OTHER

  • Assist in creating videos and turning graphics into 3-D Issue presentations
  • Assist in Graphic Design responsibilities
  • Assist Multimedia Specialist in oversight of all websites
  • Assist our Communication Specialist in generating and posting creative blog content
  • Manage and provide technical assistance on capturing back end data from forms on our various websites
  • Work with Multimedia Specialist on APP development and maintenance

TECHNICAL/ANALYTICAL SUPPORT

  • Implement digital marketing best practices
  • Provide support to online guests and staff in the form of account updates, technical assistance, and answering general questions
  • Work with Communications Specialist to analyze PR reports and integration with social media
  • Collect, analyze and report metrics and data to Director of Marketing to support budget decisions and future strategies

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS/BA in related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, social media
  • Expert knowledge of all major social media platforms and CRM experience
  • A/B campaign testing experience
  • Presentation skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Advanced/Expert knowledge of WordPress and other CMS such as Drupal
  • Advanced/Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS languages
  • Advanced/Expert knowledge of systems such as ExactTarget, SalesForce, TimeshareWare
  • Must have experience in Digital Marketing tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, AWR Cloud
  • Must have a strong understanding of Technical SEO such as; Website Architecture, 301 Redirects, High quality, relevant link-building, robots, txt best practices, Spam Referral filtering
  • Advanced/Expert in Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Must be able to generate powerful, SEO-friendly, conversion-optimized copy
