Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst is primarily responsible for data assembly, manipulation and analysis. This role requires in-depth expertise with analytics platforms and tools.

Project Delivery

  • Use tools and other data sources to uncover insights and opportunities for clients
  • Translate large amounts of data into concise figures with clear conclusions
  • Write analysis to illustrate how the data is meaningful to clients
  • Critically evaluate data, industry trends, client and competitor performance
  • Evaluate data tools to use for various project needs
  • Craft new analyses when needed to answer specific questions

Thought Leadership

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices, focusing on how developments can help improve offerings
  • Think creatively and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice
  • Analytics consulting, implementation, troubleshooting, custom reporting, analysis
  • Create, or assist in creating, POVs, best practices, and key process documentation

Research and Development

  • Assist in developing additional product offerings to ensure the highest value services to clients
  • Improve current offerings via new data sources, updated methodologies, etc.
  • Develop delivery efficiencies for current offerings via new data tools and/or automation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in advertising, marketing or media technology
  • Exceptional presentation skills for both client and internal meetings
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word
  • Expert in Excel
  • SQL proficiency required
  • Innovative and creative, with logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead technical projects proactively
  • Ability to relay technical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders with various levels of technical knowledge and at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both client facing and internally
