RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain the long-term web and related digital technologies and standards based on a continuing dialog with business and technology groups within the organization.
  
• Work closely with business units, marketing and customers to identify requirements and maximize opportunities to utilize web technologies to improve and enhance web facing and future e-commerce capabilities.
  
• Work with marketing, IT teams, contractors, implementation partners to develop solutions on the recommended/chosen web technology platforms.
  
• Function as single point of contact with the marketing team.
  
• Establish, participate, and maintain relationships with implementation partners to remain appraised of Web projects status and direction, architectural and technology issues, risks, functional and integration issues, etc.
  
• Provide strategic Web and Digital technologies research, architectural and consulting support to marketing, business and information technology groups within the organization.
• Advise on options, risks, costs benefit analysis, integration issues, overlapping functionality and impact on other business processes, technology solutions and system priorities.
  

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field.

Experience:

• The Web Application Developer should have 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing and implementing web and digital technology solutions including:
  
• 3+ years of experience architecting and developing portal based external facing solutions on the IBM WebSphere Portal server 8.5 platform or comparable portal server.
  
• 2+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere Content Management or comparable web platform including content management templates and workflow.
  
• Experience with mobile content, templates and responsive web design and mobile applications.
  
• Experience enhancing website functionality with Rich Media/Digital Expeirence within the Portal.
  
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting issues in Portal 8.5.
  
• Experience with bootstrap and angular or vue.js.
  

Skills/Abilities:

• Prior project Management/project leadership experience in managing vendor/contractor teams to implementing website and e-commerce capabilities.
  
• Experience with IBM Power8 Power Systems a plus
  
• Prior software development background.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
