Job Description

  • Reporting to the Director of S&C Regulatory Affairs NA, the Sr. Chemical Data Specialist will be responsible to support
  • S&C Regulatory Affairs in assessing, reporting and registering raw materials in accordance with Industry, Country, Federal, State, Customer and/or non-governmental specific requirements.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, communicate and ensure impact and requirements of relevant new and/or changing chemical regulations are implemented
  • Responsible for North America and Canada Aroma Molecule ingredient registrations and coordinating data requirement/dossiers
  • Manage EPA TSCA Reform and other Chemical Regulatory initiatives as necessary
  • Manage the integration of new raw materials and/or support regional alternate vendor approvals
  • Coordinate and reporting of North America EPA TSCA CDR and Denatured Alcohol usage (other chemical reporting as necessary)
  • Manage internal and external Aroma Molecule regional support
  • Individual and team support for global and regional continuous improvements projects/tasks and initiatives

Knowledge And Experience Requirements

  • BS/BA minimum MS/MA or advanced degree preferred in Toxicology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related scientific field
  • 7-10 years of Regulatory Affairs experience â?? Chemical and/or Fragrance industry preferred
  • 2-5 years of government or related chemical data reporting

  • Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized/project management skills with the ability to handle conflicting priorities
  • Team player to interact with internal personnel and external customers
  • Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels
  • Dialogue with government agencies regarding registrations, approvals, rejections
  • Regulatory vigilance and ability to interpret regulations
  • Proficient computer skills required including experience in SAP, government or other agency portal reporting, database management, managing significant volume of data
