Role:SAP System Analyst - EDI

Location:Torrance, CA

Seeking an experienced SAP / EDI Analyst to join our IT team at our Torrance, California, office. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of IT.

• The primary responsibility of the Analyst position is providing the support of SAP ERP systems, particularly in the area of Electronic Data Interface.
• The essential duties of the position include:
  
• Provide EDI support for customers, internal users and EDI vendors.
  
• Manage supplier and customer EDI and other interface relationships and integrations.
  
• Monitor iDocs interfaces; Troubleshoot and resolve iDoc problems.
  
• Create new mapping specifications and maintain existing ones.
  
• Configure and maintain EDI documents; Perform testing and develop documentations as required.
  
• Participate in system integrated testing to ensure system requirements are met.
  
• Coordinate with SAP Functional team and users to satisfy business requirement needs.
  
• Troubleshoot and fix transactions errors with internal users, customers and EDI vendors.
  
• Build simple user exit to satisfy EDI requirements.
  

Basic Requirements:

Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience, with three years of work experience with SAP systems, including two years experience with SAP EDI process.

Critical Skills and Abilities:

• A strong understanding of ANSI X12 standards, and communication protocols, including FTP, AS2, RFC is needed.
  
• Experience with ABAP programming is preferred.
  
• Prior experience with SAP Warehouse and Sales Distribution modules is preferred.
  
• Knowledge of SAP MM/MRP is preferred.
