Dev ops - system engineer

Job Description:
Experience with the following required:
o IIS installation, configuration and setup (version 7.5 or higher)
o PowerShell scripting
Application Systems Administration:
â?¢ Ability to perform application administration responsibly to ensureapplication access, performance, security and back-up/recovery is optimal andavailable at all times
â?¢ Ability to perform IIS installations, configuration and setup
Systems troubleshooting duties:
â?¢ Able to troubleshoot system errors and working efficiently to resolve issuesand mitigate system downtime
Experience with the following preferred:
o Experience with cloud computing configuration and administration (MicrosoftAzure or AWS)
o Web application performance tuning
o Familiarity with one or more version control systems (Git, SVN)
o Experience building or managing applications from the Application layer down
o Understanding of the complete deployment lifecycle from design, build, test,deploy
o Knowledge of virtualization technology and methods (VMware/Xen/Hypervisor)
o Skills with automation, using scripting and tools like Splunk
o Automated deployment
Education and/or Experience:
Years of experience
6+ years of application infrastructure experience such as IIS Administration,etc.
Education preference
4-year degree in IT related course of study
Computer skills
6+ years of experience in Windows Operating Systems, Internet protocols anddatabase structures, SMTP, HTTP, security, directories, and replication in amulti-domain global environment.
Application development
5+ years of experience supporting a Waterfall and or Agile SDLC
