Position Summary

  • Title Manager of eCommerce Systems
  • Department Information Technology
  • Reports to Chief Information & Transformation Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide input to the short and long-term IT plan for B2B and B2C eCommerce initiatives
  • Execute the initiatives of the approved IT plan to help strategically grow the organizationâ??s future B2B and B2C needs
  • Determine best approach of in-house or 3rd party software for the given business need
  • Migrate legacy software to meet the goals of the organization
  • Ensure that end to end SLAs are agreed to and delivered
  • Support current software, including any ERP software
  • Meet with internal and external customers to determine future development requirements
  • Evaluate inefficiencies within the organization and determine a course of action for improvement that aligns with the organizations long-term goals

Skills and Competencies

  • Skilled in eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Salesforce, etc.
  • Skilled in latest coding platforms, methodologies, and technologies
  • Skilled in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experienced in Angular or similar frameworks
  • Experienced in Microsoft SQL and Microsoft (or equivalent Java) development technologies
  • Experienced in .NET, C#
  • Experienced in middleware design, implementation, and usage in the eCommerce context
  • Experienced in version control systems (i.e. Git)
  • Expert in general computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrable business acumen and excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and business focused skills
  • The ability to work in a changing environment under pressure and within challenging timescales

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred);
  • 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
