Administrative Professional :-

  • Join a vibrant campus community. The Benefits & Employee Operations Unit is seeking a Benefits Advisor (Administrative Professional).
  • The position administers and provides guidance of the benefits programs for employees, retirees, and their eligible dependents: insurance programs (medical, dental, life, and long-term disability,) flexible spending program, and retirement savings programs (403(b) and 457(b) employer-sponsored retirement savings plans.)
  • Interpret and administer provisions of unrepresented employee handbooks, contracts, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Administer Unemployment Compensation for the Report to the Assistant Director of Benefits and Employee Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related public management/social science field required minimum four years of related human resources management experience to utilize comprehensive
  • knowledge of benefits, labor relations, compensation, and payroll administration to effectively advise and administer cases required.
  • Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations required.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and data base applications required.
  • Experience with HRIS/Benefits systems and various complex, interactive website processing tools required.
  • Effective interpersonal, written communication, organizational and analytical skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality required.
  • Experience working effectively with a wide range of employees, affiliates, family members, dependents, and external support person required.
