Summary
- Provides Quality Assurance expertise across the entire software development lifecycle and performs software testing function.
- Responsible for following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
- Leading software application development and/or enhancement projects, exercising exceptional judgment and creativity in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions, and escalating only the more unusual and unique software program/application development issues when necessary.
Qualifications should include but are not limited to the following:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, or MIS.
- QTP experience preferred
- Strong, senior knowledge of software development life cycle and QA processes/methodology.
- Experience in any of the following preferred: Agile, TFS, SQL Server
- Experience installing, configuring, and operating a multi-tier WEB based system in a testing environment preferred
- 3-5 years experience using test management/defect tracking tools, familiarity with requirements management tools
- Experience generating tables, graphs, charts, etc., to represent, analyze and communicate data and information, and presenting complex issues and data to audiences of varying levels
