Overview

Responsibilities

• The Sr. Developer's primary role is to code JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne software solutions in accordance with business specifications and internal development policies.
• This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the software development lifecycle.
• This role is also responsible for troubleshooting and debugging system and integration issues.
  
• Knowledge and use of JD Edwards Development Toolsets (9.1) in the areas of Object Management Workbench (OMW), Object Librarian (OL), Data Dictionary (DD), Table Browser, Debugging Tools, Forms, UBE (reports), Named Event Rule (NER), and Business Functions.
• In addition to the standard Development Toolsets, experience with JDE Workflow, C programming, and BI Publisher is critical.
• The ability to understand and apply the use of SFTP and PGP encryption will be required periodically, as well as developing forms/templates with Createforms.
  
• Ability to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization to translate business requirements into technical solutions as well as troubleshoot system and integration issues.
  
• Ability to lead and execute development activities throughout all phases of a system implementation and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  
• Demonstrate a visionary mindset with desire to tackle parallel challenges across multiple applications and processes.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Administration.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT or relevant business experience.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with JD Edwards (8.12, 9.0, 9.1) using the Development Toolsets in the following areas:
  
• Object Management Workbench (OMW)
