Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Assist the accounting team in the monthly close process and the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Prepare reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts at the appropriate time intervals.
Review and resolve general accounting issues and requests from the field.
Maintain critical accounting and finance documentation that will be useful in both bank and financial statement audits.
Assist in the preparation for financial statement & bank audits.
Assist in the development, oversight of policies and procedures and internal control environment.
Assist in the financial analysis of target acquisition companies and Greenfield opportunities.
Prepare ad hoc financial and business analyses.
Assists with the development of the annual budget.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience working for one of the Big 4
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
2-4 years of relevant work experience
Additional consideration given to candidates with Acquisition or Transaction services experience
High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to solve business issues
Excellent written and oral communication and research skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel
