Job Description:
Role:Senior Data Analyst/ETL, Healthcare IT (Perm) Location:Philadelphia, PA
Key Responsibility & Requirements:
Gather requirements/business rules needed to ETL the source and troubleshoot problems presented by either an internal or external team; help facilitate and manage all meetings related to the work as well as document the business rules
Resolving any questions/concerns from the team during the refresh and communicate deliveries of refresh to internal or external teams and perform first line support duties for both internal and external inquiries
Ensure user stories are documented properly and in the correct priority order and participate in scrum agile meetings sprint planning, retro, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint demo
Mentor other data analysts and help to create, maintain, and implement analysis guidelines such as ETL Specification documents and the analysis process while working with the Chief Product Owner, attend conferences and work with clients to ensure satisfaction of the OMOP product
Have excellent communication and writing skills, can facilitate meetings, gather requirements/business rules and show the ability to work with both the business stakeholders and development team
Have SQL knowledge, process and databases and show you can help mentor others while participating and balancing multiple projects
Ability to agile and adjust to a constantly changing environment
Nice to Have:
Pharmaceutical data intense experience; any experience with Rabbit in a Hat and White Rabbit is plus, as is Amazon Redshift experience, Big data/Hadoop knowledge
Medical and Pharmaceutical patient level data experience and using Jira and Confluence
Bachelors Degree or higher
