Role:SAP SCM (DP & PPDS) Functional Specialist

Location : East Chicago, IN

Job Description :

Requirements

• Configure, write functional specification, test, train end user and troubleshoot enhancement to the base system
  
• Provide support of enterprise applications, to include moderately complex needs analysis, trouble-shooting, configuration, and changes for supported applications.
  
• Work closely with the business and other teams on system enhancements.
  
• Complete unit testing system changes before production loads.
  
• Coordinate testing and document results.
  
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of the best solution from many possible alternatives, to handle various business needs as they arise.
  
• Assist in the coordination of the adoption of new business procedures resulting from system improvements, through the development of documentation, training, and communication plans.
  
• Interacts with business end-users in all phases of support activities.
  
• Ability to work with SAP Functional team and eventually business people in gathering requirements, designing, unit testing, support integration and user acceptance testing, support post install
  

Technical Skills: (5+ years)

• SAP SCM DP and PPDS, ERP PP
  
• BW and SD experience is a plus
  
• SAP HANA 1511 on premise experience is a plus
  
• Expert knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and enhancement points
  
• Broad technical appreciation - including ALL key SAP functionality and technology.
  
• Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs to/from Middleware (IBM WebSphere is a plus) and flat files
  
• Expert in IDOC enhancements
  
• ABAP debugging skills is a plus
  
• Middleware experience. IBM WebSphere is a plus.
  
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
