Role:SAP Project Manager

Location: Manchester, CT

• The position of Project Manager will report to and support the Director of Applications and Development in planning and execution of major SAP projects.
• The position will be responsible for the end to end management of projects, from project proposals and planning, through Design, Build, Test, and Deploy project cycles, including budget tracking and reporting.
• The position will work closely with all members of IT Staff to ensure all parties are informed of ongoing activities and all standards of operations are maintained on IT projects.
• The position will also work with business members to support change management activities and planning of project cycles.

• Working closely with the Director of Applications and Development to build project proposals and schedules, track and report on project budgets, and manage project teams to execute detailed plans of all project phases.
• The position will coordinate with all departments across the organization to ensure organizational change management is handled effectively, and will assist the Director of Applications and Development in building presentations for Senior Management on current projects.

• Build and maintain project plans for all assigned IT projectsBuild and maintain project budgets and report on KPIsThrough out the scope of the project, you will be responsible for coding and testing to ensure compliance and working.
• Support IT standards by ensuring processes and procedures are followed by project teams
• Manage project teams through design and development cycles by ensuring all requirements are met and objectives are completed on timeManage major project test cycles by tracking all reported issues through resolutionBuild, distribute, and present project status reports for parties within and outside of the IT organization

• 5+ years experience in project management Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team members within IT and throughout all departments and levels of the company Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong computer and problem solving skills Proficiency with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook Preferred Qualifications SAP Retail experience Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BW, and/or SAP EWM
