Role:- Data Analyst

Loc:- New York City, NY

Requirements:-

• B.S. or B.A. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative field
  
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with data analytics
  
• Strong analytical coding experience and expertise with Python, R, Big Query, Hive, Spark and/or other related tools and platforms
  
• Should be able to independently drive meetings with key business stake holders to clearly tell a story based on insights derived from the data
  
• Ability to create visualizations (sometimes on-the-fly) using Tableau, matplotlib and other visualization tools to assist with telling the data's story
  
• Advanced statistical knowledge including predictive analysis and forecasting, probabilistic modeling and customer segmentation and profiling
  
• Capable of applying supervised and unsupervised machine learning to predict customer behavior using standard retail data sets (e.g., web analytics/tracking, CRM, etc.)
  
• Strong understanding of core customer/consumer concepts and the data behind them (e.g., product and merchandising data, web and mobile analytics, CRM, etc.)
  
• Familiarity with web tracking data (Google, Omniture, Coremetrics, etc.)
  
• Experience with open-source machine learning packages (e.g., H2O, Tensor Flow, Spark-Client, Open AI, etc.)
  
• Experience extracting data from databases and other common formats.
  
• Ability to identify and work with data quality issues.
