Role:- C++ Developer

Loc :- Norcross, GA

• Provide tier 2 & 3 system support and development services for our proprietary Equity and Fixed Income trade settlement system developed by C++, C# and Oracle
• Provide tier 2 & 3 system support and development services for various MS Excel-VBA applications built for Middle and Back office usersUser groups include Operations, Compliance, Finance, Risk Management and Middle
• Office teamsResponsible and accountable for the system development roadmap and deliverables to meet business and IT requirements
• Manage incident troubleshooting and resolution as and when requiredAdopt and coach team members by applying feasible development methodologies and standards
• Manage and perform quality assurance of work delivered by vendor and internal team membersLiaise with Support Manager to set priority on support tickets and system development requests
• Liaise with vendor to handle escalated system issues and system enhancement workFunction as system SME to support and advise projects e.g. solution approach, estimation of effort and actual deliverables
• Work with business analysts to understand and define system change requirementsConduct testing, support UAT and handle production change roll outComply with applicable
• IT Policies and Procedures in performing day to day workBe client focused and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• University graduate with minimum 5 years of working experience in securities brokerage environment
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience with Equities settlement system to function as developer or production system support
• Must have practical skills and knowledge of Equity settlement system and its related technologies including middle office post trade operation, CCASS workflow, SWIFT & Euroclear messaging, Omgeo CTM/ALERT operation, corporation actions, position management and etc.
• Previous managerial experience to perform tier 2 & 3 system support and development services will be an advantage
• Excellent skills in C++, C#, .NetExcellent skills in Oracle database and in Unix (preferably SUN Solaris)
• Excellent skills in MS Excel-VBAExcellent analytical and problem solving skills and experienceWeb application knowledge (Apache, SOAP) will be an advantage
• Script language knowledge (perl, python) will be an advantage
• Experience of Agile and PMP methodologies will be an advantageSelf-starter and able to explore and learn new system proactively
• Good knowledge of IT control governance including change management, incident management & quality assurance approach
• Good command of English, excellent communication and coordination skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic team playerMust be attentive to detail, proactive and flexible
