Job Description

• The Sr. Data Warehouse Engineer designs and maintains dimensional data warehouse, operational data store and reporting data structures, as well as ETL processes from multiple sources.
  
• This experienced engineer will design and maintain OLAP cubes; design and maintain data models and data dictionaries; design and enhance business reports that are easily consumed; analyze and optimize query performance using various DML and DDL strategies, collaborate with DBAs, software developers, and Data Integration Lead to ensure that BI project needs are being met.

Skills Include:

• Can build ETL processes from multiple sources using SSIS
  
• Intimate knowledge of DML and DDL best practices
  
• Proficient use of data modeling tools such as ERwin

• Familiarity with data-driven and event-driven ETL processes
  
• Effective written and verbal communication with both internal and external resources

Experience Includes:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  
• 5 to 7+ years experience working in an enterprise data warehouse environment.
  
• 5 to 7+ years experience using SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
  
• 5 to 7+ years experience with designing, programming, and integration of various back-office systems.
  
• 5 to 7+ years experience of hands-on development with Microsoft SQL Server 2008-2016.
  
• 1 to 2+ years experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  
• Experience working with business users to define project scope and requirements
  
• Good understanding of the Agile development methodologies
  
• Track record of success delivering projects on time and budget
