Job Description:
Role:Programmer Analyst
Location: Barrington, IL
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Develop Oracle /SQL views and queries for extracting data from Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases
- Develop new reports and modify existing reports based on business needs using Jaspersoft technology
- Provide technical support/helpdesk for the business users in using our ERP application CMIC
- Help roll out new functionalities or enhancements released by CMIC
- Log issues for external resolution with software vendor, tracking and prioritizing issues and releasing bug fixes, patches, etc.
- Testing of reports written by other programmers prior to sending to end users
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Domo while working collaboratively to meet user needs
- Develop, test and maintain Oracle workflows
- Test hotfixes and patches as applied to CMiC
- Create and maintain security within CMiC as employees are hired
- Work with other programmer analysts to maintain standards
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Information systems or Accounting or Business
- 3+ years of experience with preferred construction industry knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database
- Experience with Data Base Administration
- Experience with report writing tools such as Oracle Reports, Jaspersoft, Microsoft Reporting Services, or Crystal
- Experience with CMiC is a plus
