JOB DESCRIPTION

Steel processor needs individual to provide metallurgical/technical service to our customers as a lias on between the Company and the customer.
Will investigate customer complaints and/or rejections to identify reasons and obtain samples of defects.
Provides technical support to inside sand outside sales when customer part specific questions arise prior to shipment. Conducts new part investigations, obtains samples and determines form ability and mechanical properties.
Candidates should have prior experience in this field and an engineering degree in material sciences or related field. Knowledge of sheet steel making/rolling and processing.
Excellent communications skills and problem solving skills mandatory. Proficient in computer use.
