- The Supply Chain Engineer (SCE) is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing end-to-end supply chain solutions for a major Lineage Customer in our Re-Distribution group.
- A successful candidate will have experience in supply chain management, logistics engineering, network design/optimization and supply chain cost modeling.
- He/She will create analytical models and develop capabilities to support the strategic vision of Lineages Customer.
- These models include transportation and supply chain network design, shipment density and frequency analysis, network integration design and inventory analysis.
- Key tasks also include data mining, trend analysis, development of financial baselines and savings calculations.
- This is a Customer facing and consultative position, therefore it is critical that this individual have outstanding organization, communication and change management skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing historic and foretasted data to identify cost & service improvement opportunities
- Develops scenario-based solution models
- Designs and develops supply chain solutions aligned to our customers strategic roadmap
- Supports implementation of solutions as needed by the Lean project managers at Lineage
- Communicates complex solutions to a variety of stakeholders effectively and concisely
- Develops metrics and dashboards to track results of implemented solutions
- Ability to understand the story in the data?, and ability to coach others in seeing and telling the story
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analytics including: data cleansing, analytics and modeling using excel, SQL, modeling software and BI tools.
- Proven analytical aptitude evidenced by 3 or more years of successful experience in a quantitative role
- Supply Chain experience preferred
- Experience with lean processes and tools such as value stream mapping, A3 project management, visual management, pareto analysis and fishbone diagrams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Problem solving skills evidenced by demonstrated results in past positions
