  • The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for leading Data Architecture in support of our Global Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Strategy.
  • This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and all of its dependent/subsidiary functions.
  • Additional responsibilities include master data management, metadata management, data modeling, and data extraction/exchange.
  • The Enterprise Data Architect should be a strategic thinker, thought leader, change agent, and motivated self-starter.
  • This is a hands-on role and will be expected to:Design, develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the EDW.
  • In future state, this will be the central source of data comprised of numerous data sources, including data from the ERP, CRM and numerous other sources.
  • Integrate and blend data from existing systems, including SAP, MS Dynamics, Hyperion, and Workday.
  • Connect data from additional disparate sources into a logical structure for consumption by end-users and BI tools.
  • Architect creative solutions to enable data discovery, self-service, enterprise level dashboards and reports.
  • Translate and define business requirements into a technical architectural vision and implementation plan.
  • Define data model strategies and develop logical and physical data models and data marts.
  • Continually review technical environments, hardware, and software strategies to identify gaps, challenge assumptions and status quo, and develop ongoing solutions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on data warehouse, ETL, and data modeling.Build data warehouse and data marts based on appropriate methodologies, document, and train organization.
  • Develop strong understanding of data and source systems, and build appropriate solutions that fulfill end users analytical needs.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, report glossaries, and all supporting documentation.
  • Lead and manage projects and project teams from ideation through execution in a structured manner to complete projects on time and on budget.Socialize current and ongoing projects, including appropriate training/procedure manuals for end-users.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, or Master's degree with 3+ years, experience in proven BI, Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling and change management
  • Deep technical understanding of BI, Analytical Solutions, Large Transnational /Modernization Projects, Innovative Technology, and how to apply strategy to build, operate and mature an EDWProven advanced experience in large-scale data warehousing, data modeling, data architecture development, data integration development, ETL, and Master Data Management (data cleansing and archiving)
  • Proven expert in SQL and T-SQLProven expert on relational database environments (SQL Server required)
  • Proven expert in data integration methodology and tools (SSIS required)Proven expert in data modeling, both relational and dimensional
  • Prior experience in SAP ECC, SAP SBO, SAPBW, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI (or other advanced reporting tools, such as Tableau or Crystal Reports)
