Technical Program Manager-Philadelphia, PA

Responsible for managing one or morehighly complex or enterprisewide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects.

Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and variousenterprisewide high-level project plans.

Ensures integration of projects andadjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of thebusiness.

Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT BusinessConsultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes.

Responsiblefor delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time,within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements.

Responsiblefor tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to ProjectManagers.

Partners with senior leadership of the business community to identifyand prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of theenterprise.

Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use ofProject Management methodologies and tools.

This is a single or multipleincumbent(s) position that typically exists in a small to medium sizeenterprise with multiple project managers, project leaders and/or projectsupport staff as direct or dotted line reports.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degreein Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field orequivalent work experience.

Project Management certification isrequired. Typically has to 10 years of IT and business/industry workexperience, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role and 5 yearsmanaging projects.
