Responsible for developing andexecuting formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality softwareapplications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test caseautomation and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metricssuch as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Collects andanalyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integratesthem into business processes to address the needs of the business. Documentsall problems and assists in their resolution. Delivers quality process trainingto technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise orinfluence business or technical partners. Performs quality audits across thevarious IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologiesare being followed.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Typically has 0 to 3 yearsof systems development, testing and/or business experience.

Responsibilities
• Build and execute test cases to verify that ourapplications for TV Streaming devices (Roku, Samsung) meet requirements andcustomer needs
• Analyze market and customer usage patterns torecommend devices that will ensure maximum coverage during testing
• Collaborate with the development team whilefeatures are being built to become more familiar with what is being implementedand how, as well as review use cases together
• Investigate new tools and technologies maketesting efforts faster and more effective
• Analyze and help triage defects raised bycustomers, both internal and external

Attributes for Success
• One plus years of experience working withstreaming TV applications (e.g. Roku, Samsung TV, Apple TV, Android TV)
• Ability to capture and analyze device and webservice logs
• Effective bug reporting includingprioritization, steps to reproduce, and repeatability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-tasking – need to be able to handlemultiple ongoing releases across more than one platform at any given time
• Experience with iOS and Android mobileapplication testing is a plus
