Role:Senior Data Management Analyst

Location:Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities:

• As part of Data Delivery team, will develop and manage data based on end user requirements for underwriting variable insurance, security/investment and other related products.
• Responsible for analyzing functional specification documents in order to design products.
• Also responsible for creating technical design documents, source to target mappings, and developing Data Stage code to meet design requirements.
• Will utilize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various source systems including Oracle and DAT files and load into data warehouse after cleansing, transforming and integrating.
• Responsible for building SQL queries for Oracle to fetch data as needed for business requirements.
• Also responsible for Production Support on rotation basis. Responsible for creating PL/SQL programs such as Packages, Procedures, Cursors, etc.
• Based on program requirements and Performance tuning of existing applications within Data Stage and Database.
  

Qualifications

Education: Master s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related position.

Other special requirements:

• 2 years of experience analyzing user requirements to design end product;
  
• 2 years of experience using SQL and SQL*Plus in a database environment;
  
• 2 years of experience working with Oracle database management system;
  
• 2 years of experience tuning existing applications within Data Stage and Database;
  
• 2 years of experience developing Data Stage code and designing Data Stage jobs for extraction of data; and 2 years of experience upgrading Data Stage to newer versions.
  
• In lieu of a Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
