Job Description:
in Atlanta, GA is seeking a-Hyperion Planning and Essbase Lead with strong technical and business analysis skills. A deep understanding of finance and accounting with a focus on budgeting and forecasting process is necessary. The candidate will work with the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team to design and improve the overall Planning and Reporting processes. The candidate will work closely with corporate and Line of Business users to support business operations. The candidate will be responsible for business requirements gathering, functional analysis, deployment, and support of software applications for business functions in major areas of the business and enterprise wide.- This position will focus as the liaison with stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. The candidate must possess effective communication skills and be able to track and complete multiple requests with conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.- This position will interface with end users, senior management and new projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum of 6+ years hands on experience with Hyperion Planning and Essbase including Hyperion (Essbase) architecture and the various application tier and database tier components (Hyperion 11.1)
Strong experience as a technical resource, designing and delivering-Hyperion-Planning/Essbase solutions
Skilled in building and maintaining calculation scripts, data loads, batch jobs, automation and MaxL scripting
Understands dependencies and interrelationships between functional components of-Hyperion-Planning among forms, business rules, calculation scripts, variables and Essbase databases
ASO and BSO Essbase application development/configuration and support - including metadata design and metadata update administration, complex calculation/rule development, web form and reporting
Prior implementation of multiple Hyperion projects
Proficient in Smart View and Financial Reporting Studio
Provide alternatives based on best practices and application functionality
Work with end users to develop and evolve the application process while maintaining a stable, productive environment
Extensive financial process and functional knowledge
Experience with end user training including the preparation/lead of formal training and information sessions
Proven background with systems support and direct contact with users to resolve issues with financial business applications
Experience with ODI and/or Informatica
Experience with Hyperion Planning and Budget Cloud Services (PBCS)
Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Ability to prioritize work load, strong technical, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Willingness and ability to train and teach others
Evening and weekend work to perform maintenance and upgrades to support the monthly planning process.
Special projects and process improvements as determined necessary by management
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus
Exposure to Data Relationship Management (DRM) a plus
Knowledge of FDMEE for data integration including mapping rules and scripts a plus
