JobOverview: Provide ongoing technical expertise andsupport to the development lifecycles of MasterCard products and ancillaryapplications. Focus may be on core and/or non-core products and in variousstages of the overall project cycle. Close partnership with Business Analysisand the technology teams to ensure that business and functional requirementsare aligned appropriately with MasterCard Technologies. Will have strongworking knowledge of MasterCard applications and systems.

  • Sr Sys Analyst is working within the Enterprise Security Solutions group.  Candidate will be working with their feature team and will be working with tech leads and bridging gap between the teams. Brand new role; new feature team.
    • System requirements and technologies
    • Functional, good business skills
    • VERY strong business analyst skills and dive deep to design the solutions
    • Excellent documentation skills (Rally or JIRA tool experience is required!)
  • Agile methodology, Scaled Framework – 2 week sprints in a PI model (4 PIs a year).
  • Will be working at the story level and working with technical teams.  Design what the team will be building.
  • Must have a technical understanding of Spring, Java/ Web Services (RESTful), etc.
  • 12 Months, will possibility to extend!
  • If a candidate has a background in money laundering, intrusion, security  - it would be nice to have.

 

 

MajorAccountabilities: Accountablities will includesome but not necessarily all depending upon specific role:

•Providetechnical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensurethat business and functional requirements can be met

•Providetechnical support to Business Owners during implementation of newproducts/services

•Providesubject matter expertise for support escalations

•Leadthe development of conceptual designs and mocking up screens

•Testingand working with TCOE staff

•Prioritizeand identify cross application/system enhancements

•Determinedevelopment impacts to current processing and work with programmers and usersto ensure accuracy of enhancements

•Developand execute complex test plans

•Performanalysis of system requirements and work closely with developers

•Createdesign considerations that assists team with front-end changes

•Leadreview sessions of technical requirements

•Managedefect resolution process

•Coordinateoffshore testing

•Collaboratewith development staff on software designs

•FacilitateJAD sessions

•Documentand coordinate audit controls and PCI requirements

Otheraspects of this role that may occur depending upon the specific functionalarea: Web Application: •Define and implements tagging measurement strategies toall MasterCard to measure success of its digital effort SEQ Analyst: •Work withbusiness and development team to define needs, plan and optimize our webproperties for Search Engine Optimization Data Analyst: •Act as liaison betweenthe business and technical teams in such areas as data quality, merchantanalysis, help desk support, compliance and government regulations, audits andcontrols and report definition and creation.

 

Education: •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, orManagement Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experienceand education.

 

Knowledge/ Experience: •3 – 5 years experience inrelated field •Strong technical knowledge and capability •Demonstration of MC
