Loc:- Saint Louis, MO

  • The candidate should have experience with working in a multi team operation model.
  • The person should also have experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting middleware products such as Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat & with a minimum of 7+ years experience supporting high-availability enterprise sized web applications.

Job Description:

  • Installation, administration, migration, provisioning and decommissioning of large multi-tier Middleware/WebLogic/WebSphere/Tomcat environments
  • Responsible for providing support to Web & application server administration, configuration and troubleshooting of the web infrastructure and performance issues
  • Monitor applications and environments to ensure system availability
  • Contribute to project team efforts to ensure operational support requirements are implemented.
  • Assist in design and ensure middleware instances and related projects meet operational requirements.
  • Maintain a proactive view on the performance of the middleware platforms.
  • Conduct performance analysis and tune application to increase performance.
  • Respond to application outages.
  • Maintain version, patch and security levels, in accordance with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Possesses strong network knowledge and skilled in network protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS using LINUX.
  • Strong skills with troubleshooting firewall and network flow diagram.
  • Strong scripting skills to automate deployment tasks.
  • Experience writing instructions for Tier 2 teams to execute installs and creating intakes with partner teams.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience administering and engineering any combination of the following.
  • Weblogic Application Server, Websphere Application Server (WAS) 7.0/8.5 (required) JBOSS EAP 6.x (required) Apache Tomcat (Required) Microsoft IIS 7.0, 8.5 (knowledge) Shell scripting or programming experience
  • Experienced in data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Experienced in generating process flows and diagrams
  • Understanding of network communication between multiple networks
