Responsibilities
General
Interact with many different people. You will be working with people both inside and outside of the company, across many different functional areas and backgrounds.
Read and create documentations. Aside from verbal communications, a great deal of information you exchange will be in the format of business and legal documents.
Work with a wide range and volume of data. From a few dozen records in an Excel file to millions of records from an enterprise database, you will see them all.
Create and execute solutions. Take all of the above and deliver results on projects completely under your ownership and responsibility.
Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Technical
Standardize and process small datasets using Excel.
Standardize and process large datasets using SSIS and SQL Server.
Troubleshoot data issues, research data quality problems and reconcile information as needed
Conduct general pattern and in-depth calculation analysis of large datasets using SQL Server.
Work with company vendors in the exchange, validation, searching and updating of data (i.e. NCOA, ACS, Skip Trace)
Job Requirements
Required
BS or BA degree in computer science, computer information systems, or business administration, or combination of education and experience.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in cross-functional data and business analysis.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. This includes writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.
Experience with advanced features of Microsoft Excel. This includes using data functions and pivot tables.
Experience with SSIS, working with information in a lot of different formats and using SSIS to import the data.
Ability to work effectively in situations involving uncertainty, ambiguity or lack of information.
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to approach a problem logically and systematically.
Experience with being responsible for customer communications, and building customer satisfaction.
Desirable
Basic understanding of financial securities transactions.
Computer programming experience.
Experience with InRule Business Rule Management System.
Experience with SSRS.
Experience with SSAS.
