Job Description: Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain existing and develop new SSIS packages and ETL processes. - Play an integral part of redesigning and replacing legacy processes that are no longer efficient (SQL Server Integration Services 2008/2014). - Increase work capacity, eliminate redundant functions, and use standardized workflows. - Document existing workflows, identify requirements, design an appropriate solution, and implement solutions. - Design and develop a SQL driven data warehouse processing solutions. - Ingest operational datasets for enrichment, conduct data validation audits, and stage analytical reporting datasets. - Develop a solution for creating and maintaining published datasets. - Provide production and operational support and analysis when issues occur. - Invest file parsing and performing analysis on datasets to detect root cause. Skills and Requirements: - 2 - 5+ years of database development leveraging SQL Server 2008/2014 tools and technologies. - Intermediate to advanced level skills with SSIS/ETL. - Experience with PowerShell scripting is preferred. - Experience with data modeling is preferred. - Experience with source control, preferably TFS and SVN. - Experience with SSRS and SSAS are preferred. - The highest level of written and oral communication skills. - Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and see through to completion. - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. - Industry certifications are preferred.
