ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Support end users, maintain, and troubleshoot Finance Systems including, but not limited to, Lawson ERP and IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics Workspace Work with end users to understand requirements, build and maintain reports based on their specifications and needs Document procedures and write training documents Work from high-level or detailed requirements, to design, develop, test and implement a variety of operational and analytical reports and dashboards Create queries against tables used for data profiling, troubleshooting, and tactical ad-hoc reporting as needed Research, identify, and analyze the requirements of program users Monitor software performance on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas Work with consultants for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of issues Provide guidance to Finance team members Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting Experience working with any of the following systems: Lawson, TM1/Planning Analytics Workspace, MHC/Document Express Experience with system implementation Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience working in a fast-paced high demand environment Experience working with financial modeling and reporting System Implementation Preferred Knowledge: Outstanding analytical skills (numerical, verbal) Highly proficient in Financial modeling and reporting Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Strong problem solving skills Project Management experienceKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Strong understanding of databases, including SQL/Oracle, querying, data mining etc Skills/Abilities: Must be self-driven and motivated Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure A methodical approach to tasks with strong documentation skills Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
