Role:HR System Administrater Location:Jasper, IN
The HR System Admin Specialist will positively impact our business performance by enhancing our ability to make the right decisions using correct, timely and relevant data related to our people. Our team member in this role will help adapt our Global HR System (Workday) to meet real business needs. You will not only just respond, you will help our organization anticipate changes in technologies and capabilities within our Workday system. This role will improve our user experience within our HRIS is by developing, delivering, documenting and resolving issues.
Our new team member must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, time/project management skills, a positive attitude, be able to translate technical terms into business terms, and train users as needed. You must also be a US person by definition of ITAR. This position is located in Jasper, Indiana.
Key Performance Objectives
Short Term: (0 to 3 months)
Learn Workday Administrative responsibilities for HCM, Recruiting and Onboarding
Complete assigned training in the Workday Learning Center and review existing documented processes
Develop an understanding of Workday Community Center
Become familiar with Workday Reporting by reviewing delivered and custom reports available
Learn Kimball philosophies to understand our People and Systems culture
Learn Kimball HR system support processes by participating in issue resolution
Start to build relationships with each facility HR user community
Participate in monthly user group sessions for each facility (ongoing)
Mid Term: (3 to 6 months)
Attend external Workday training
Develop expertise in utilization of Workday Community Resource
Assist in issue resolution and documentation of fixes
Enhance process documentation
Understand Business Unit specific differences regarding Workday System and Business Process Configuration
Participate in planning, communicating and tracking system upgrade testing
Long Term: (6 to 12 months and beyond)
Cross train to other areas to gain full knowledge of Workday (Time, Absence, Payroll Admin and Benefits Admin) as well as any systems to which it connects
Prepare, revise, and finalize training materials as needed
Assist with semi-annual System upgrade
Review enhancements (delivered and optional) designated for upgrade
Implement required system set-up, test, make recommendations for implementing optional enhancements and develop communication for required enhancements
Prepare and co-own system upgrade test plan
Develop scenarios/checklist and prepare required communication for our business unit resources
Learn new areas of Workday to support long term vision for HRIS
Other (ad Hoc Priorities)
Identify and lead improvement processes regarding our Global HR system as needed to support global needs
Support system requirements for acquisitions
