Business Intelligence Architect: III (Senior)

Description:   KELLOGG JOB TITLE:   Data Visualization Lead

Experience Needed:

•        Ability to collaborate and iterate quickly with POC visualizations  

          and design.

•        Design highly visual, aesthetically pleasing, interactive data

          visualizations in Tableau 10.2.1

•        Collaborate with our data science team and help design data

           model, or data sources that facilitates visual aesthetics of design.

•        Design custom graphics in Photoshop/In-design/Gimp if needed.

•        Create custom calculations, parameters, or JavaScript Code using

          Tableau API if needed.

•        Design custom LOD calculations from Kellogg Data sets where

          needed.

•        Be able to collaborate on design solutions for both desktop and

          mobile devices.

•        Able to work within Kellogg framework for both Keystone and

          Tableau Server/ and other ecosystems of sharepoint etc to deliver

          final solution.

 
What will you be doing

Business intelligence (BI) architects are in charge of analyzing and implementing business intelligence for their organization. 

Responsible for determining platforms and correct functioning for the central data warehouse. 

Process large amounts of information to draw conclusions based on their intelligence findings, interact with a variety of business professionals, and communicate critical project requirements within their organization. 

Manage developers, directing their efforts to reach organizational goals in a timely manner. 

Use analytical tools to calculate business data and interpret results.  

Build and load enterprise information by using data warehouses and marts, act as a mentor for junior staff, and participate in company meetings to suggest improvements for business processes. 

Help manage custom application development and create delivery model strategies, as well as provide scalable services related to high performance visualization tools and infrastructure design.
